Mike Pologruto has been training and studying in the martial arts since 1984. He is the co-founder/co-instructor at Montpelier Martial Arts and Brazilian Jujitsu. He received his black belt in Korean karate in 1987 and currently holds a 4th degree black belt in Okinawan karate. He has studied Wing Chun Gung Fu under sifu Randy Williams since 1994. Mike has studied Brazilian Jujitsu with Julio Fernandez (6th degree black belt under the late Carlson Gracie senior) since 1996 and currently holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt. 
Sue Arbogast has been training and studying martial arts since1984. She is the co-founder/co-instructor at Montpelier Martial Arts and Brazilian Jujitsu. Sue received her black belt in Korean karate in 1987 and currently holds a 4th degree black belt in Okinawan karate. Sue developed and was the chief instructor of "Strike Back," a full impact self defense program for women. She actively taught this program from 1990-2000. Sue is the chief instructor and Vermont representative under Randy Williams in the close range combat art of Wing Chun Gung Fu. Sue has studied Brazilian Jujitsu with Julio Fernandez since 1996 and currently holds the rank of 3rd degree black belt. 
Fighting Instructor Dick Powell has over 30 years of experience in karate and kickboxing – as well as training in other martial arts – where he had a very successful competition career. Dick currently holds black belts in three different martial arts and continues to train and teach kickboxing at Montpelier Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
